ED RN Job in Goldsboro, NC

Join the Emergency Department at University of North Carolina Health Care System as a Registered Nurse. This 89-day travel assignment offers a 12-hour shift role where you'll deliver direct patient care in a dynamic hospital emergency setting.

What You'll Do

• Provide clinical nursing care aligned with professional standards and organizational policies
• Assess patients with complex medical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs
• Coordinate and prioritize patient care using the nursing process to meet individual and family needs
• Perform bedside point-of-care testing as required for patient care plans
• Collaborate with patients and families to develop and update care plans
• Communicate relevant clinical information to promote continuity of care across the interdisciplinary team
• Consult with appropriate resources when managing patients with complex care issues
• Assess patient readiness to learn and adapt education delivery to developmental and learning factors
• Participate in interdisciplinary team discussions and unit-based performance improvement initiatives
• Report to and remain accountable to the Nurse Manager or Director

What We're Looking For

• Current RN licensure
• Minimum 2+ years of emergency department experience
• Demonstrated competence in managing patients with complex presentations
• Strong communication and collaborative skills
