Med Surg RN Job in Oconomowoc, WI

ProHealth Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel contract on the Medical-Surgical unit in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin.

Position Details

• Specialty: Medical-Surgical
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 3 days per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Weekly Pay: $2,532
• Contract Duration: 91 days
• Start Date: November 3, 2026

Scheduling

• Every weekend and holiday rotation required
• No on-call or callback requirements
• Holiday groupings for 2026: Thanksgiving (11/25), Christmas Eve (12/25), and New Year's Day (12/31)

Clinical Responsibilities

• 22-bed Med Surg unit with patient ratio up to 1:6
• May float to other like units and facilities based on census as needed
• Must read telemetry and identify heart rhythms
• Experience with cardiac drips required

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of Med Surg experience required
• Short-term acute care hospital experience required
• Recent Epic charting experience within the past 12 months required
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
• Current Wisconsin RN license required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• At least one completed travel contract preferred
• Willingness to train for charge preferred but not required
