Telemetry RN Job in Tracy, CA

Sutter Health Tracy Community Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Telemetry unit. You will provide direct patient care in an acute telemetry setting, working 3x12 hour day shifts on a 91-day travel assignment starting October 12, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,241.82.

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver holistic, individualized nursing care to patients across adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric populations
• Perform comprehensive assessments addressing physiological, spiritual, and emotional needs
• Develop and implement individualized care plans incorporating psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to interpret, adjust, and coordinate daily patient care
• Monitor cardiac telemetry, manage central lines, PICC lines, chest tubes, and tracheostomy care
• Administer blood products, manage BiPAP/CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, and heparin protocols
• Interpret arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias; manage cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration)
• Perform wound care, including wound vac management
• Document all care in Epic EHR
• Mentor newly hired staff and assist with orientation as needed
• Participate in rapid response and code teams
• Provide weekend coverage as scheduled

Requirements:

• Current California Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of recent RN experience with 2 years in Med-Surg or Telemetry
• Travel nursing experience required
• Previous Epic charting system experience required
• Active certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
• 24 hours of orientation required
• LTAC experience preferred
