ICU Registered Nurse Job in San Francisco, CA

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• 3 x 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Weekend rotation required with shifts scheduled at minimum every other weekend
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required to TICU, Med/Tele, and Med/Surg units as needed
• Patient ratio of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• 3 years of ICU experience required, 4 years preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Trauma Level I experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Preferred certifications: TNCC, CCRN
• California RN license required
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Required skills include: arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care and management, continuous IV sedation, CVA/acute stroke management, external ventricular drain (EVD) management, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), ICP monitoring, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, neuro intensive care, phlebotomy, PICC line management, post neurosurgery management, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, sheath removal, spinal cord injury care, titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, valve repair/replacement care, and ventilator management
• Additional preferred skills include: CVVHD/CRRT, ECMO, FloTrac/Vigileo monitoring, hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun, TAVR, traumatic brain injury care, and ventricular assist device (LVAD/RVAD) management
