ED Nurse Job in Macon, GA

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in the 25-bed Emergency Department at Piedmont Macon Medical Center, treating patients across all age groups from neonates through geriatrics. This is a 63-day travel assignment starting July 20, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• Work three 12-hour night shifts per week
• Every other weekend schedule required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Weekly pay: $1,814.40

Unit Details

• Daily census of approximately 120 patients
• Patient ratio of 5:1 on days, nights, and weekends
• Self-scheduling unit with 12 hours of orientation
• Float within facility per scope of practice and to sister facility as needed

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license (Georgia or Compact)
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (first-time travelers accepted)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
• Proficiency with Epic charting system

Required Clinical Skills

• BiPAP and CPAP management
• Care of ventilated patients
• Central line care and management
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• IV vasopressor administration
• Triage

Support Services

You'll have access to interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, lift teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretaries.

Holiday Policy

If one or two major holidays fall during your assignment, you are expected to work those days. If three major holidays fall within the period, you are expected to work two of them.
