Telemetry RN Job in Springfield, MO

Mercy Hospital Springfield is seeking an RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Telemetry on the night shift. You will work 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with a weekly pay of $2,079.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 30-bed unit serving medical, medical-telemetry, and cardiac overflow patients
• Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information
• Work with telemetry monitors, lift equipment, IV pumps, and tube feeding pumps
• Float on a rotational basis as assigned by the facility
• Patient ratios on nights are 1:6–1:7

Shift Details

• Night shift orientation occurs on day shift; you must be available the entire orientation week
• Weekend hours as required by the facility
• No call requirements
• 36 or 48 guaranteed weekly hours (specify on submission form)

Requirements

• Current RN license; eligible for or currently licensed in Missouri
• 1 year of inpatient telemetry experience
• Experience and competence in drug titration
• BLS certification from AHA only (required prior to start)
• NIHSS certification (must obtain prior to start)
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system
• Black scrubs required

This assignment is ideal for an experienced RN looking to work nights in a structured telemetry setting. Start date is September 25, 2026.
