ICU Nurse Job in Denver, CO

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM
• Patient ratio of 1 RN to 2 patients
• Work in a 16-bed ICU/CCU unit located on the 3rd floor of the main building
• Night shift team consists of 1 CNC/Charge RN, 8 RNs, and 1 PCT (for census greater than 14)
• Operate and work with cardiac monitoring equipment, ventilators, IV pumps, and tube feed pumps
• Use Meditech electronic medical records system
• Perform and assist with procedures including intubations and central line placement
• Care for medical ICU and neurological patient populations
• Minimum 1 year of current ICU hospital experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH stroke scale
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• Must be a collaborative team player
