RN - ED ER

Job Details:

• 48 hours guaranteed is an option
• Work in a 38-bed Emergency Department with three main areas: Rapid, Main, and POD 3 (psych safe area)
• Day shift and night shift available with 7 RNs per shift; mid shift staffed with 5 RNs
• Minimum requirement of 4 weekend shifts and 2 Fridays per 4-week schedule
• 2 major holidays and 2 minor holidays required
• Perform and assist with procedures including port placement and chest tubes
• Operate equipment including ventilators, BiPAP, EKG, arterial lines, Belmont, and chest tubes
• Use Meditech EMR system
• May float to Brookside ED
• Required skills include prioritizing, time management, and de-escalation; CPI preferred
• Preferred skills include team player mentality and strong time management
• Best personality fit includes patient-focused, detail-oriented, positive attitude, and coachable individuals
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
• Must adhere to POD 3 unit policy
