Telemetry RN Job in Maryville, TN

Prisma Health Blount Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Telemetry unit in Maryville, Tennessee. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 16, 2026.

Position Details

• Schedule: Three 12-hour night shifts per week, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every-other-weekend coverage required, subject to unit needs
• Patient ratio: 6:1
• Weekly pay: $1,972

Clinical Responsibilities

You will care for adult patients in a step-down environment with higher oxygen demands, dialysis needs, atrial fibrillation, and post-cardiac catheterization diagnoses. No ventilator or pressor support. Floating to other med-surg units may occur based on census.

• Administer and manage cardiac drips including heparin, cardizem, amiodarone, and sotalol
• Perform telemetry monitoring both on-unit and remotely
• Manage BiPAP/CPAP, blood products, and central lines
• Provide chest tube and tracheostomy care
• Interpret dysrhythmias and arterial blood gases
• Deliver pre- and post-cardiac catheterization care
• Manage pre- and post-hemodialysis needs
• Provide pacemaker and wound care management
• Administer high-flow nasal cannula and peritoneal dialysis support

Requirements

• Current Tennessee nursing license
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications

Interdisciplinary resources available include IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy support.
