Telemetry RN Job in West Des Moines, IA

MercyOne West Des Moines Medical Center is seeking an RN for their Telemetry unit. This is a 181-day contract position beginning September 7, 2026.

Position Details

• Specialty: Telemetry
• Shift: 3x12 nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday
• Duration: 181 days
• Weekly Pay: $2,241

About the Role

You will provide direct patient care on the Telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac rhythms and vital signs for patients requiring continuous cardiac surveillance. Your responsibilities include administering medications, performing assessments, coordinating care with the healthcare team, and documenting patient progress in the medical record.

Night shift work requires flexibility and the ability to function independently during lower-staffed hours while maintaining the same quality of care provided during day shifts. You will be part of a team committed to patient safety and positive outcomes.

Requirements

• Current RN license in Iowa
• Telemetry experience preferred
