ICU RN Job in Denver, CO

Opportunity:

RN - ICU Neuro

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Position located on the 4th floor in the Neuro CCU/ICU unit with 18 beds
• Patient ratio of 1 RN to 2 patients (estimated, not guaranteed)
• Work alongside a team consisting of 1 CNC/Charge RN, 9 RNs, and 1 PCT per shift
• Utilize equipment including cardiac monitoring, ventilators, IV pumps, tube feed pumps, EVDs/LDs/Bolds, continuous EEG, lumbar drain, Arctic Sun, and Licox
• Document using Meditech EMR system
• Perform typical unit procedures including intubations, central line placement, EVD/LD placement, and Licox catheter placement
• Minimum 1 year of current ICU experience required
• Experience with neuro population preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Collaborative team player personality preferred
