Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Night shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Must be available to work every other holiday, if needed
• 1:5 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• EPIC charting experience required
• Will be required to float within skillset
• Scrub color: any combination of navy blue and white
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Active New York single state RN license required (NY is not Compact) - must be in hand at time of submission
• Required certifications: BLS and NIHSS - valid NIHSS must be included in submittal
• Must demonstrate cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias and use of Rapid Response/Code teams
• Must be proficient in nasal cannula, oxygen administration, oxygen tanks, and non-invasive airway management
• Must be proficient in IV therapy and phlebotomy with peripheral line care and management, and isolation precautions
• Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted
• RTO requests must be submitted upon submission and cannot exceed 10 days
