Telemetry RN Job in Springfield, MO

Mercy Hospital Springfield is seeking an RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Telemetry. You will work 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a 32-bed cardiac and med-surg unit.

Compensation and Schedule

• Weekly pay: $2,055
• 3x12 night shifts
• Weekend hours as required by facility
• No call requirements
• Night shift orientation occurs on day shift; you must be available for the entire orientation week

Clinical Details

• Cardiac and med-surg patient population
• Patient ratios: approximately 1:6–1:8 on nights (estimates, not guarantees)
• Will float on a rotational basis
• Equipment: Alaris pumps, telemetry, and lift equipment
• EMR: EPIC
• Drug titration required

Requirements

• Current RN license; must be eligible for or currently licensed in Missouri
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient Cardiac Telemetry experience
• BLS certification from AHA only (required prior to start)
• 4 trauma credits or ability to complete within first two weeks of start
• NIHSS certification required prior to start
• ACLS from AHA preferred
• Competence in drug titration

Dress Code

• Black scrubs required
• Torn clothes, open-toed shoes, and non-scrub attire are not acceptable
