PCU Registered Nurse Job in Atlanta, GA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. This is an 89-day travel assignment beginning November 2, 2026.

Position Details

• Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Shift: 3x12 nights
• Schedule: Full-time, 36 hours per week
• Weekly pay: $2,021
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4

Your Role

You will deliver intermediate-level care to patients with complex acute and chronic conditions. Your responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration (including Heparin drip management), monitoring vital signs, documenting clinical changes, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and stability.

Patient Population

You will care for patients with conditions including sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergency, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, Type 2 diabetes, substance abuse, and encephalopathy.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license (valid in Georgia)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
