Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg Neuro
Job Details:
• Work on a 34-bed Medical Surgical Neuro unit (max capacity of 43 patients)
• Patient ratio of 5:1
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, 3 techs, and 1 unit secretary at max capacity
• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, 1 tech, and 1 unit secretary at max capacity
• Perform general medical surgical procedures on a stroke and neuro designated unit
• Utilize remote telemonitoring equipment and Meditech EMR system
• Required certification: BLS
• Preferred certifications: NIH Stroke certification and ACLS
• Navy scrub color required
• Ideal candidate is upbeat, engaged, and compassionate
