ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 36 hours offered per week
• Every other weekend required
• No call requirement
• No float requirement
• Patient ratios: Non-critical 3:1 (up to 4:1 with hallway during callouts), Critical patients 2:1, Medical boarders in ED 5:1
• Care for adult patients including STEMI, stroke, and Level 2 trauma patients
• Approximately 170 visits per day across 53 rooms and beds
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required skills: IV start, triage, telemetry, and conscious sedation
• Preferred skills: ENPC and trauma experience
• Required certifications: TNCC, ACLS, NIHSS, MOAB, and BLS
• Charting systems used: PYXIS, EPIC, and SBAR
• Scrubs: Navy blue
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start
• No block scheduling
• Orientation: 36 hours
