Telemetry RN Job in Saint Louis, MO

Missouri Baptist Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Telemetry position in Saint Louis. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 5, 2026, with a 3x12 night shift schedule.

Schedule & Compensation: You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week at $2,278 weekly. Every other weekend is required, or a minimum of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule. No on-call is required. You are guaranteed 3 shifts per 13-week contract, with a maximum of 7 days of RTO per contract period. Cancelled shifts will match your regular shift length.

Role Details: You will float across all medical units, including medical, surgical, renal, oncology, neurology, and cardiology. You must call a recorded line up to 1 hour before your scheduled shift start time to receive your unit assignment. Night shift patient ratios are 1:6. You will care for adult and geriatric patients with daily census ranging from 28 to 50 depending on the specific unit.

Required Qualifications: You must hold current ACLS, BLS, IV start, and Telemetry proficiency certifications. A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required. NIHSS certification is preferred.

Required Skills: Central line care and management, CVA management, feeding tube care and management, high flow nasal cannula, interpretation of arterial blood gases, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions and PPE, telemetry and remote monitoring, wound care and wound vac, phlebotomy, peripheral line care, surgical drains, PCA, and use of rapid response and code teams.

Facility Specifics: The facility uses EPIC for charting. Navy blue scrubs are required. Lift devices and ceiling lifts are available with training provided. A bladder scanner is available. Free parking is available. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary.
