Certified Surgical Technologist Job in Orangeburg, SC

MUSC Health Orangeburg is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join its Surgical Services team. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 17, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• 3x12 shifts, Days: 6:45 AM to 7:00 PM
• Weekly pay: $1,425.60
• On-call required: 4 weekday call shifts and 1.5 weekends per 4-week period
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; called-off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift
• Block schedule available upon manager approval dependent on unit needs

Role Requirements

• Minimum 2 years surgical technologist experience required
• First-time travelers accepted only with experience in all service areas
• Floating between service lines required
• Must maintain current BLS and NBSTSA (NCCT not accepted) certifications
• Radiation badge required; must be provided by agency
• Required case experience: General Surgery, Robotics, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Gynecology, Eyes, Urology, and ENT

You will work as an Allied Health Professional in a surgical services environment supporting multiple surgical specialties. This role requires adaptability, strong technical skills, and the ability to manage on-call responsibilities while maintaining high standards of sterile technique and patient safety.
