Telemetry RN Job in Midland, MI

Join MyMichigan Health - Midland as a Registered Nurse in our Observation Unit on the night shift. This is a temporary position running for 91 days, beginning October 12, 2026. You will work 3x12-hour night shifts on an every-other-weekend schedule with no on-call responsibilities.

About the Role

You will assess, implement, and monitor patient care for outpatients assigned to observation status. Your responsibilities include:

• Regularly assess patient needs and provide skilled nursing services according to the physician-authorized plan of care
• Administer medications, perform treatments, respond to call lights, assist with transfers, and monitor alarms
• Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and collaborate with team members to update or revise care plans
• Process physician and provider orders accurately, completely, and in a timely manner
• Follow up regarding medication changes and order clarifications

Requirements

• 2+ years of Observation Unit experience
• Valid Michigan nursing license with active LARA and/or Nursys verification
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Skills checklist completed within one year of application pertinent to Observation specialty
• 2 supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,111 for this temporary assignment.
