Occupational Therapy Assistant Job in Potosi, MO

Tide Health Group - Georgian Gardens in Potosi, Missouri is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a 91-day travel assignment in long-term care. You will work 5 days per week on day shifts with no on-call responsibilities and no weekend requirements.

About the Role

As an OTA, you will deliver rehabilitative and skilled treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and physical functioning disorders under the supervision of a Licensed Occupational Therapist. Your responsibilities include:

• Administer ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive device training
• Assess patient progress and recommend treatment adjustments to your supervising OT
• Document treatment sessions and maintain accurate patient records in the electronic system
• Communicate with patients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members about treatment plans and progress
• Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation team meetings
• Support discharge planning and document outcomes per regulatory requirements
• Coordinate DME and supplies with your supervising OT
• Assist with student supervision and facility in-services as needed

Requirements

• Current Missouri state license and COTA certification
• Minimum 1 year of OTA experience
• Long-term care or rehabilitation experience required
• Knowledge of evidence-based practice standards
• Strong documentation and communication skills

Assignment Details

Weekly pay is $1,670.40. The assignment begins July 20, 2026, and runs for 91 days. You will work day shifts, five days per week, with no weekend or on-call obligations.
