Med Surg RN Job in Overland Park, KS

Join Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park, Kansas as a travel RN on the Med-Surg Orthopedic/Neuro unit. This 91-day assignment runs from December 14, 2026, at $2,360 weekly, working 4x12 night shifts (7 PM–7 AM).

Unit Details

• 32-bed Med-Surg unit on 3rd floor, Building A
• Team-oriented, fast-paced environment
• Patient ratios: 1:4 with total patient care or 1:5 with PCT support; may reach 1:6 with PCT as needed
• Night shift staffing includes charge nurse, 6–8 RNs, 4 PCTs, and unit secretary (through 10 PM)

Work Schedule

• 48 hours guaranteed per week
• Rotate every 3rd weekend; night shift weekends can fall Friday, Saturday, or Sunday

Clinical Focus

You will care for patients undergoing total joint replacements, complex spine care, complex neurosurgery cases, and general surgery procedures. Float areas include Med/Tele and Surgical Specialty floors.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS or PALS preferred
• Basic Dysrhythmia class preferred
• Team-oriented mindset and comfort in fast-paced settings
