Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg
Job Details:
• Work on a 34-bed general medical surgical floor that also serves as a stroke and neurology designated unit
• Patient ratio of 5:1
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, 3 techs, and 1 unit secretary at max capacity
• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, 1 tech, and 1 unit secretary at max capacity
• Utilize remote telemetry equipment and Meditech EMR system
• Perform general medical surgical procedures with stroke and neurology patient population
• Required certification: BLS
• Preferred certifications: NIH Stroke certification and ACLS
• Scrub color requirement: Navy
