Telemetry RN Job in Springfield, MO

Mercy Hospital Springfield is seeking an RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Telemetry, working the night shift. This role offers the opportunity to provide direct patient care to neurological, medical, and medical telemetry patients across all age groups.

• Shift & Schedule: 3x12 nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), with weekend hours as required by the facility. No call requirements.
• Compensation: $2,106 weekly, with guaranteed hours of 36 or 48 (to be indicated on submission).
• Assignment Details: 91 days beginning July 17, 2026. You will float on a rotational basis. Night shift staff orient on day shift and must be available the entire orientation week. Patient ratios range from 1:6–1:7 on nights.
• Clinical Requirements: Minimum 1 year of inpatient telemetry experience required. One year of inpatient neurology experience is preferred. Competence in drug titration is required.
• Certifications & Licensure: Current RN license valid in Missouri, BLS certification from AHA only, and NIHSS (you must obtain prior to start if not already held).
• Equipment & Systems: You will work with telemetry monitors, lift equipment, IV pumps, tube feeding pumps, and the EPIC electronic medical record system. Dress code is black scrubs only.
• Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care using the full nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinate care activities with ancillary departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.
• Time Off Policy: Any RTO (required time off) must be made up at the back end of the assignment and will not be approved during the first week. Only one holiday RTO request is permitted per assignment.
