PCU RN Job in Sun City, AZ

Banner Boswell Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit. You'll work 3x12 night shifts over an 89-week assignment beginning November 16, 2026, with a weekly pay rate of $2,541.

Your Role:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for Progressive Care Unit patients
• Utilize specialized nursing knowledge and clinical judgment to provide age-appropriate care addressing physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care based on comprehensive patient assessment
• Coordinate multidisciplinary team care and delegate appropriately to licensed and non-licensed personnel
• Evaluate patient and family responses to care and teaching, revising plans as needed
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in patient records according to facility policy
• Provide direction and supervision to healthcare personnel
• Participate in unit shared leadership and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Current valid RN license in Arizona or compact licensure
• BLS certification
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience
• Recent acute care experience within the past 12 months in the specialty area
• Ability to maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations
• Physical capability to frequently stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 75 pounds with proper body mechanics

Schedule and Location:

You'll work primarily at Banner Boswell Medical Center (10401 W Thunderbird Blvd, Sun City, AZ) with floating between Boswell and Del Webb campuses as needed. Night shifts provide continuity in patient care during critical hours.
