ED RN Job in San Antonio, TX

Methodist Hospital Northeast is seeking an RN for a 13-week contract position in the Emergency Room. You will work 3x12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with every other weekend required. This role offers 36 guaranteed hours per week at $1,674 weekly pay, starting September 8, 2026.

Core Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting
• Participate in procedures including conscious sedation, intubations, behavioral health monitoring, and sepsis management
• Administer stroke care protocols including TPA administration
• Manage chest pain and heart alert patients
• Float per Methodist's floating policy as needed
• Respond to on-call requirements as outlined

Required Qualifications

• Current, active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2+ years of emergency room experience
• PALS or ENPC certification
• ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
• Proficiency with Meditech documentation system preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• CEN certification

Dress Code and Appearance Standards

• Navy scrubs required; undershirts and jackets must be white, navy, or black only
• No acrylic nails; nails must be no longer than one inch, clean with no chipped polish
• Hair must be off shoulders and natural color
• Body art should be covered whenever possible
• Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
