Med Surg RN Job in Morgantown, WV

You'll work as a Registered Nurse on the Medical-Surgical unit at Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown, West Virginia. This is a 13-week travel contract with the possibility of extension.

Schedule & Pay

• 4x12 night shift, including weekdays and weekends
• Patient ratios of 1:5–7
• Weekly pay: $2,301

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Current WV or Compact License (pending license accepted for submission)
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required (American Heart Association)
• Proficiency with Cerner charting system
• Travel experience not required

Clinical Skills & Responsibilities

You'll provide direct care to adult patients with acute medical-surgical diagnoses. Your skills should include blood product administration, BiPAP/CPAP management, heparin and insulin administration, IV insulin protocols, interpretation of dysrhythmias and ABGs, peripheral line and PICC line care, tracheostomy care, wound care and wound vac management, phlebotomy, and participation in rapid response and code teams.

Unit Culture & Support

• Interdisciplinary support available: IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams
• Blocked schedule requests will be accommodated when possible, though no guarantee
• Facility expects no more than 2–3 call-offs per contract
• Scrubs are not provided
