ED - Emergency Room

Job Details:

• Night shift schedule working 3x12-hour shifts
• 13-week contract duration
• Fast-paced emergency department with 65,000 visits annually
• 36-bed emergency department including 8 express care beds
• Care for patients across the lifespan from neonate to geriatric
• 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule
• Expect to work some holidays
• 3 years of experience required
• Active VA or Compact License required at time of submission
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC
• Required skills: Arterial line management, care of ventilated patient, central line care/management, isolation precautions/PPE, IV vasopressors, Level II Trauma Center experience, management of dysrhythmias, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, starting and maintaining IVs, and triage
