ED Registered Nurse Job in Fishersville, VA

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Augusta Health in Fishersville, VA. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting October 5, 2026, with 3x12 night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM). You will earn $2,062 per week.

You will care for patients across all age groups—infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics—in a 49-room general emergency department with combined adult and pediatric capabilities. This is a non-trauma setting where you will manage a diverse patient population and apply a broad skill set.

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform triage and patient assessment
• Monitor and interpret EKG readings
• Administer blood products
• Establish and maintain IV access, including CVA skills
• Maintain proper PPE protocols and isolation precautions
• Perform phlebotomy
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• Current RN licensure
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
• Proficiency with Meditech charting system

Support & Environment:

You will have access to interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, social services, rapid response teams, and interpretation services. Every other weekend is required. This assignment offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative emergency medicine setting with established clinical protocols and team support.
