ICU - Intensive Care Unit

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend shifts required as needed, typically every other weekend
• Holiday shifts required as needed
• Float between ICU and PCU patients within the unit
• ICU nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1-2; PCU nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3
• Titrate standard ICU drips including vasoactive and sedative drips; PCU involves mild titrations within written parameters
• Work with common diagnoses including vented patients, cardiac post-PCI, impella, IABP, stroke, targeted temperature management (TTM), vascular, traumas, sepsis, OD, abdominal trauma and surgical cases, and CRRT
• Must be comfortable reading and interpreting telemetry strips independently
• Must have thermoguard/Zoll cooling experience with TTM
• Must have previous travel experience
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience preferred
• Must be proficient with EPIC charting system
• Navy blue scrubs required
• No on-call or standby requirement; possibility for extra shifts
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
