ICU RN Job in Nampa, ID

St. Lukes Nampa Medical Center is seeking an RN for its Intensive Care Unit. You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with weekend coverage as needed on a rotating basis. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 14, 2026, paying $2,205 weekly.

Unit Details

• 10-bed Intensive Care Unit with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Charge nurse on each shift does not carry a patient assignment
• Administrative Supervisor and Crisis Nurse available on site 24/7
• Hospitalist and Intensivist (via telehealth) on site 24/7
• Respiratory therapists in the ICU 24/7
• One CNA per shift for support
• May float to Telemetry unit at a 1:3 ratio or full assignment, and to Meridian and Boise ICUs as needed

Your Responsibilities

• Titrate critical infusions including Propofol, Levophed, Dobutamine, Vasopressin, Fentanyl, Epinephrine, and Diltiazem
• Care for patients with Heart Failure, Respiratory Failure, Sepsis, GI Bleeds, Strokes, TPA, post-codes, Pneumonia, and post-surgical complications
• Manage ventilated patients and equipment including high-flow oxygen and BiPAP
• Read cardiac monitor strips using the Spacelabs monitoring system—you will be responsible for all cardiac monitoring on the unit
• Use EPIC for all charting

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience; first-time travelers accepted
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• BSN not required

Additional Details

Unit-specific orientation provided based on your experience. No on-call or standby requirements. CRRT experience is not required for travelers. Scrubs may be any color as long as they are clean and professional.
