ICU RN Job in Idaho Falls, ID

You will work as an RN in a 29-bed general ICU at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, a Level 2 trauma center. This is a day shift position with a schedule of three twelve-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend.

Your patient ratios will range from 1:1 to 1:2, occasionally 1:3 when patients are ready for step-down care. Travelers float first to the ED and step-down units as needed. You will be on-call only when census drops; otherwise, no call is required.

This role requires advanced clinical skills including:

• Ventilator management
• ABG interpretation
• Vasoactive drip titration
• Hemodynamic monitoring

The unit performs a variety of procedures, including intubations, central line placement, bronchoscopies, bedside tracheotomy, and PEG tube placement. You will work with equipment including Aleris pumps, GE monitors, Edwards EV1000 and CCO, Prismaflexm CRRT, and Cardiohelp ECMO. Documentation is managed through Meditech.

Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center has robust ICU capabilities including CRRT, Impella, IABP, and ECMO support. The facility operates a heart program with approximately 200 cases per year and maintains an on-site burn center.

Required credentials: RN License, ACLS, and BLS.

Welcome certifications: TNCC, NIH, and ABLS.

You will be required to wear navy blue scrubs. Assignment begins October 5, 2026, for 13 weeks. Weekly pay is $2,214.
