Med Surg RN Job in Nyack, NY

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Medical-Surgical units at Montefiore Nyack Hospital, a Trauma Level 3 acute care facility. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 5, 2026, with 3x12 hour night shifts and weekly pay of $2,468.

Your Role

You will provide direct patient care across three Med/Surg units: Med/Surg Vent (31 beds), Med/Surg Ortho (31 beds), and general Med/Surg (38 beds). Your patients will include ventilator-dependent individuals, orthopedic cases, and general medical and surgical patients. You will maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:9, with PCA Techs available on the unit to assist you.

Unit Operations

• Work 12-hour night shifts with weekend and holiday requirements
• No on-call or standby requirements
• May be asked to float within Med/Surg units
• 2-day unit and department-specific orientation provided

Requirements

• Current New York nursing license
• Registered Nurse (RN) degree
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• EPIC charting system experience
• BLS Certification
• Navy blue scrubs required
