Med Surg RN Job in Santa Fe, NM

CHRISTUS St Vincent Regional Medical Center is seeking an RN for a Medical/Surgical position in Santa Fe, NM. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting September 28, 2026.

Position Details

• Schedule: 3x12 hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Weekly pay: $2,328
• Weekend requirement: 2 to 4 shifts per month, rotated among staff
• On-call requirement: 2 to 4 shifts per month, rotated among staff
• Float to all Med/Surg departments as needed
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5–6
• EMR: EPIC
• Dress code: Grey scrubs

Responsibilities

• Provide routine and complex nursing care, practicing independently in the clinical setting
• Apply the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation—for assigned patients
• Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols; monitor for side effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care delivered
• Assess patient learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers as needed

Requirements

• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required
• BLS Certification via AHA required
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred
