Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 36 or 48 hours per week available
• Weekend requirement: 2-3 shifts per 6-week period
• Float requirement: Yes
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Patient ratio: 1:5-7, may fluctuate based on unit needs and surge
• Patient population: Adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Unit focus: Medical surgical with emphasis in Bariatrics and Orthopedics
• Required certifications: BCLS, NIH, IV Start, Telemetry
• Preferred certification: ACLS
• Required skills: Blood product administration, central line care/management, interpretation of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE, MS/Tele, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, peripheral line care/management, use of rapid response/code teams
• Must maintain hand hygiene compliance of 75%
• Unit systems: PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR, Voalte
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Scrubs not provided; navy, white, or a combination required
• Orientation: 36 hours; must be available all week during week one for hospital orientation
