Med Surg RN Job in Taos, NM

Holy Cross Hospital - Taos is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Medical Surgical unit. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 28, 2026, offering competitive compensation of $2,229 weekly.

Position Details

• Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Patient ratio: 1:6
• Critical access facility with 18 beds
• Care for adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics

Requirements

• RN licensure (active, unencumbered; pending licenses not accepted)
• 2+ years of nursing experience; first-time travelers welcome
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• PALS certification (may be obtained on-site within the first week)
• 75-mile radius rule applies

Essential Skills

You will manage BiPAP/CPAP, blood product administration, colostomy/ileostomy care, heparin administration, high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC), insulin administration, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, isolation precautions and PPE, telemetry monitoring, wound care and wound vac systems, PICC line management, peripheral line care, IV starts and maintenance, PCA pump management, surgical drains, and ortho trauma patients.
