Med Surg RN Job in Atlanta, GA

Northside Hospital Atlanta is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Med Surg Oncology Inpatient position. You will work three 12-hour day shifts per week, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, providing direct patient care on our medical-surgical oncology unit.

Assignment Details:

• Location: Atlanta, GA
• Shift: 3x12 days (7:00 AM–7:30 PM)
• Duration: 110 days
• Start Date: September 14, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $1,805

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Med Surg Oncology
• AHA BLS certification required
• Willingness to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day)
• Willingness to work 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Must be a travel nurse; local candidates within 50 miles are not considered

You will be part of a dedicated oncology team caring for inpatients undergoing treatment and recovery. Your experience in med-surg oncology nursing will be essential as you manage patient assessments, administer medications, coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams, and provide compassionate support to patients and families during their treatment journey.
