Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call requirement of 1 weekday call shift per week in a 6-week schedule
• Weekend requirement is usually none, though occasional weekend coverage may be needed
• Float between service lines within the facility required; no floating to sister facilities
• Work in a 9-room operating room covering general surgery, robotics, retina, urology, ortho, and colorectal service lines
• Daily average surgical case volume of 10 to 16 cases
• Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics; preference for experience with infants and pediatrics
• 1+ years of experience required with strong general surgery background
• Experience with ortho, neuro, eyes, and robotic surgery required
• Required certifications: BLS and NBSTSA (NCCT not accepted)
• Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Hospital-issued scrubs provided for OR
• Radiation badge must be provided by agency prior to start
• Guaranteed hours: facility may call off 1 shift per 2-week period; called off hours can be broken down to equal 1 shift
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and more
