Operating Room RN Job in Rochester, NY

Rochester Unity Hospital is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a 56-week travel assignment. You will work 4x10 day shifts and earn $2,657 weekly.

Assignment Details

• Block scheduling offered but not guaranteed

• Minimum RTO requested

Qualifications Required

• Current New York nursing license (must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 3 years of operating room experience
• Prior travel healthcare experience (first-time travelers not accepted)
• Current BLS and CNOR certifications
• EPIC charting system proficiency (hard requirement)
• Must be located more than 75 miles from the facility

Clinical Competencies

You must demonstrate proficiency across diverse surgical specialties including orthopedic and total joint procedures, trauma, neurosurgery, gynecology/urology, vascular surgery, and thoracic surgery. Mandatory competencies include phlebotomy and IV placement. You must be proficient with the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System.

Key skills required include general operating room procedures, bariatric surgery, ENT surgery, laparoscopic-assisted procedures, spinal fusion, total joint replacement, craniotomy, vascular procedures, thoracic procedures, and gynecological procedures.
