PCU RN Job in Front Royal, VA

Warren Memorial Hospital is seeking an RN for a 12-week travel assignment in our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). You will provide skilled nursing care to patients transitioning from critical care, working night shifts in a supportive team environment.

Position Details

• Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Shift: 3x12-hour nights (6:45 PM to 7:15 AM)
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
• Assignment duration: 12 weeks
• Start date: November 23, 2026
• Weekly pay: $1,932

Unit Overview

The PCU consists of 12 beds serving ICU and critical care step-down patient populations. You will work as part of a collaborative nursing team supporting patients during their recovery and transition to lower levels of care.

Requirements

• Current RN license (Virginia State or Compact License)
• Minimum 2+ years of Critical Care Step Down experience
• ACLS certification (AHA only)
• BLS certification (AHA only)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Ability to float as needed

Schedule & Expectations

• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required
• May be placed on call during low census periods

Facility Information

Warren Memorial Hospital operates under Valley Health dress code policy. Scrubs must be navy blue. You will have access to Epic for all patient documentation and charting.
