PCU Registered Nurse Job in Richmond, VA

VCU Medical Center in Richmond, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Progressive Care Unit (PCU) focused on liver transplant and intermediate care. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 12, 2026.

Assignment Details

• Specialty unit: Liver transplant/care IMC/PCU with pre- and post-operative liver care focus
• Patient populations: Adult and geriatric
• Shift: 3x12 nights
• Patient ratio: 3:1
• Weekend coverage required with every other weekend or equivalent scheduling
• Float within scope as needed
• Weekly pay: $2,372

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Travel nursing experience required
• Trauma Level I experience required; Trauma Level II experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• BSN preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Natural nail policy compliance required
