Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekly guaranteed hours of 36 or 48 hours (must be specified on submission)
• 13-week assignment length
• Work weekends as required by facility
• No call requirements
• Float on a rotational basis to other units
• Must have 1 year of telemetry experience in inpatient setting
• Required certifications: BLS from AHA only, NIHSS (must obtain prior to start if not already certified)
• Current RN license eligible for Missouri licensure or currently licensed in Missouri
• Experience and competence in drug titration required
• Patient ratios vary: Days 1:5-1:6, nights 1:6-1:7 (ratios not guaranteed)
• Work with telemetry equipment, lift equipment, IV pumps, and tube feeding pumps
• Use EPIC electronic medical record system
• Care for medical and medical telemetry patients, including those with developmental delays
• Dress code requires black scrubs only
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required from November 1-April 1
• Night shift orientation conducted on day shift with full week availability required
• Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting, and turning patients
• High risk exposure to blood and body fluids
