Telemetry RN Job in Springfield, MO

You'll work as an RN on the Telemetry unit at Mercy Hospital Springfield, caring for medical and medical telemetry patients on a 3x12 night shift schedule. This is a 13-week travel assignment starting August 3, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekly guaranteed hours of 36 or 48 hours (to be specified upon submission)
• No call requirements
• Weekend work as required by facility
• $2,249 weekly pay

Role Responsibilities

• Monitor and care for telemetry patients, including those with developmental delays
• Perform drug titration based on experience and clinical competence
• Operate telemetry equipment, IV pumps, lift equipment, and tube feeding pumps
• Use EPIC electronic medical record system
• Float on a rotational basis to other units as needed
• Patient ratios on nights typically range from 1:6 to 1:7 (not guaranteed)
• Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting, and turning patients
• High-risk exposure to blood and body fluids

Requirements

• Current RN license eligible for Missouri licensure or currently licensed in Missouri
• Minimum 1 year telemetry experience in an inpatient setting
• BLS certification from AHA (required)
• NIHSS certification (must obtain prior to start if not already certified)
• Full availability required for night shift orientation conducted on day shift
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required from November 1 through April 1
• Black scrubs only per facility dress code
