Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts with a patterned schedule
• Weekend requirement based on unit needs, typically every other weekend
• Holiday requirement to be discussed with manager during phone interview
• Call or standby requirement based on census
• Travelers are first to float to other floors/units as needed
• Unit is a 32-bed Medical-Surgical Telemetry and Surgical Specialty unit (8 ACE)
• Patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:5 with nurse aides available at 1:8 ratio (NOC 1:10/11 after 2300)
• One year of inpatient experience required
• RNs are required to read telemetry strips
• RNs titrate Heparin drips (pharmacy to dose) and Cardizem drips up to 10 mg/hr
• Telemetry techs are available and based in Arizona
• Charge nurse and house supervisor support available on unit
• Respiratory therapy and equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow available
• Charting system: EPIC
• Certified bariatric surgical unit with multidisciplinary rounds held daily at 10:00 AM
• Any scrub color permitted
• Driver's license required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
