Physical Therapist Job in Washington, MO

Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel position starting October 26, 2026. This role offers 36 guaranteed weekly hours across a 5x8 day shift schedule, with a 91-day assignment at $2,441 per week.

Position Overview

You will work primarily in an outpatient setting at a satellite location with float responsibilities to the inpatient department. Your week includes five 8-hour shifts, with one Saturday per month required in the inpatient setting.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform initial assessments and develop plans of care upon receiving physician orders
• Conduct objective assessments and create comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients
• Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians
• Provide general supervision of physical therapy assistants in accordance with Missouri State Practice Acts

Requirements

• Valid PT license in good standing in Missouri
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
• Outpatient experience required
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR system preferred

Additional Information
