Physical Therapist Outpatient Job in Sullivan, MO

You will work as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient rehabilitation setting at Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital. This is a 91-day travel position starting November 16, 2026, with a schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week—Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, with Tuesdays off and no weekend requirements. You will earn $2,492 weekly with a guaranteed 40 hours per week.

In this role, you will treat a diverse patient population including adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. Your daily patient load will be approximately 75–90 patients. You will focus on orthopedic and neurological conditions, including orthopedic cases, neurological diagnoses, developmental delay, traumatic brain injury, high school athletes, total joint replacements, low back pain, tendinitis, arthritis, rotator cuff injuries, post-operative patients, and workers' compensation cases. Pediatrics experience is preferred.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering direct patient care and treatment
• Performing home exercise programs and patient/family education
• Assisting with lifting and transfer techniques
• Providing safety and injury prevention education
• Identifying and responding to signs and symptoms of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse
• Utilizing the EPIC electronic medical records system

Required qualifications include a current Missouri physical therapy license, BLS certification, manual therapy certification, and wound care certification. You must have a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience; first-time travelers are accepted. EPIC EMR experience is required.

You will need strong critical thinking, communication, social, and problem-solving skills, along with flexibility, honesty, and integrity. Daily communication will occur via Microsoft Teams. Dress code requires a solid-colored collared shirt (polo or athletic style), black pants (docker or athletic style), and tennis shoes or loafers—no logos or sleeveless shirts.
