PCU RN Job in Saint Louis, MO

Mercy Hospital South is seeking an experienced RN for a 24-week travel assignment in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). You will work nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on a 3x12 schedule, earning $2,102.40 per week with 48 guaranteed hours.

Role & Patient Care

• Care for post-op CABG/Valve, Thoracotomies, Respiratory Failure, and Chest Pain patients on a 32-bed unit
• Patient ratios of 1:3 to 1:4
• Work with chest tubes, temporary pacemakers, and BiPAPs
• Float as needed to a similar or lower acuity unit
• No on-call requirements
• Every other weekend required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of inpatient Cardiac Stepdown experience
• Current RN license meeting Missouri licensure criteria
• BLS and ACLS certification from AHA (required)
• NIHSS certification (preferred)

Assignment Details

• Duration: 24 weeks
• Start date: July 20, 2026
• Night shift orientation occurs during day shift; full-week availability required for orientation
• EMR system: EPIC
