PCU - Progressive Care Unit

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work on a 16-bed Stroke & Brain unit with a 4:1 patient ratio
• Schedule requires 3 shifts per week with 3-4 weekend shifts
• 48 guaranteed hours approved for travelers
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Must have stroke experience and NIHSS certification
• Telemetry and neurology experience required
• Advanced skills needed include cardiac drips and basic dysrhythmia management
• Work with equipment including Welch Allyn VS Machines, Hoyer lift, Sarah Steady lift, telemetry, bladder scanner, and Doppler
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Technician support available on unit
• Required dress code: Navy Blue
• Floating policy applies to any area where demonstrated competency exists
