RN - Med Surg Neuro

Job Details:

• Night shift position working 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Schedule options of 3x12 or 4x12 shifts available on weekdays with every other weekend required
• 36-hour or 48-hour contract options available
• 36 hours guaranteed per week
• Float within scope required to meet facility needs across like units
• Open to accommodating blocked schedule requests
• Patient ratio of 1:4-5
• 26-bed Neuro unit caring for patients with CVA, TBI, Epidural and Subdural Hematoma, seizure disorder, and spinal cord injuries and disorders
• Includes Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) with 24/7 EEG leads monitored by techs
• Telemetry required with remote tele monitoring and RN strip verification
• Experience with lumbar drains and drips including heparin and some cardiac drips
• Charting system: Cerner
• Scrub color: Royal Blue or White (RN)
• Free parking available for travelers
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certification: BLS (American Heart Association)
• WV or Compact RN license required; pending license accepted for submission
• IV Teams available for interdisciplinary support
• Adults-only patient population
