PCU Registered Nurse Job in Rochester, NY

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at Rochester General Hospital in Rochester, NY. You will work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a 3x12 schedule, earning $2,218 weekly.

Assignment Details:

• 13-week contract starting September 29, 2026
• Every other weekend requirement
• Every other holiday coverage as needed
• Patient ratio of 1:4–5 serving adult and geriatric populations
• Patient diagnoses include long-term pulmonary patients, ENT surgery, and post-surgical step-down cases
• Floating required within skillset to ICU and/or Medical-Surgical units
• Scrub color: any combination of navy blue and white
• RTO requests must be submitted upon application; maximum 10 days permitted

Requirements:

• Active New York Single State RN license (NY is non-Compact)
• 1 year of nursing experience required; travel experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• EPIC charting experience required
• Clinical competencies: telemetry and step-down level care, cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation, emergency response, Rapid Response and Code team participation, oxygen administration and non-invasive airway management, cardiac drips (non-titration), blood product administration, central and peripheral line care, IV therapy and phlebotomy, isolation precautions
