Med Surg RN Job in Stevens Point, WI

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Medical-Surgical unit at St. Michael's in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. This is a 13-week travel assignment with 3x12-hour night shifts, providing 36 guaranteed hours per week at $2,506 weekly pay. The assignment begins November 2, 2026.

Unit Overview

The 32-bed Med Surg unit handles medical and surgical cases including orthopedics, general surgery, urology, and ENT. Night shift patient ratios are 1:6-7. You will maintain Epic charting and provide direct patient care alongside the core team.

Scheduling and Flexibility

• 12-hour night shifts, three days per week
• Every other weekend required with holiday rotation
• Float requirements to like units including Riverview, Plover, and Divine Savior
• Subject to low census and call-back placement; call-back minimum is 2 hours
• Up to 36 hours of low census unbillable hours per contract

Required Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin or compact RN license
• AHA or ARC BLS certification
• Minimum 2+ years Med Surg and orthopedic experience
• One completed travel assignment
• ADN or BSN required
• Epic charting experience required
