Physical Therapist Rehab Job in Mound City, MO

Tide Health Group - Tiffany Heights is seeking a Physical Therapist for a temporary, part-time position in Mound City, MO. This 91-day assignment runs days, 5x8 hours per week, with no on-call or weekend requirements.

Role Overview

You will screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care needs. You'll develop appropriate plans of care that follow all regulatory and clinical practice standards, utilizing standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support your clinical interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer rehabilitation procedures including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and supportive and assistive devices
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly, documenting in clinical records per regulatory requirements
• Evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness and modify services based on patient evaluation
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers
• Communicate effectively with your supervisor and health team members regarding patient progress and treatment plans
• Provide comprehensive discharge summaries per regulatory and clinical requirements
• Document all required information in the electronic documentation system and maintain patient records
• Accurately record treatment minutes for services provided per regulatory requirements
• Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation meetings
• Attend facility and company required trainings, in-services, and conferences
• Supervise and support physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students
• Adhere to APTA and State Required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics

Requirements

• Missouri State License required
• 1 year of PT experience required with LTC or Rehab experience required
• New graduates accepted with Level II experience (Level I observation experience not sufficient)

Compensation

Weekly pay: $2,451
